START of New AWA School Academic Year 2024/2025!

START of New AWA School Academic Year 2024/2025!

As we embark on the start of a new academic year at the Arabic Welfare Association School, we warmly welcome back all students and parents. “Welcome back to a new academic year at the Arabic School. We hope the start of the new academic year finds you in good health and high Imaan. We hope that you had a fantastic and restful summer break. We are pleased to see that children are settling down nicely.”

The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting time, filled with the promise of growth, learning, and connection. At the Arabic Welfare Association School, we believe that every student is unique, with immense potential waiting to be unlocked. Our goal is to inspire, challenge, and guide each child to reach their full potential. To achieve this, open communication between parents and teachers is key. “We believe that a strong partnership between parents and teachers is crucial for a student’s success. Please support your child to complete their weekly homework and feel free to communicate with teachers via the blue homework book, or face-to-face after 13:30 once all children have been dismissed.”

With the school year underway, we’d like to remind all parents of some key guidelines to ensure smooth operations. The drop-off time is between 8:45 and 9:00, and children must be picked up promptly at 1:30. Due to safety concerns, staying in the playground after school hours is no longer allowed. Additionally, mobile phones remain prohibited during school hours unless used with the teacher’s permission, and we ask that all students observe modest dress, especially during Islamic studies and Dhuhr Salah sessions during the winter months.

Please ensure payment of fees is made on time to help cover school expenses. Payments can be made either in full or in three instalments, with the first due in September.” Books must also be paid for upon collection from the office. Lastly, we urge parents to save the school’s number to their contacts to ensure they receive important updates via WhatsApp. This is also the best way to report absences or communicate with staff.

With a shared commitment from both home and school, we believe that this academic year will be a successful and enriching one for all our students. “We believe that with a positive attitude, hard work, and support from both home and school, this academic year will be a successful one.” Let’s work together to make this school year a remarkable journey for our children!

Jazakum Allah Khairan for your ongoing support.
